Her influential book Skönheter & odjur (2005) is the first book in Swedish to analyze the fundamental relationship between humans and the category of animals, including the human oppression of human groups. The book employs historical and sociological perspectives, introducing and devoloping the issues of critical animal studies in general from feminist perspectives, presenting the concepts  of anthro-androcentrism, meatism and meat normativity, and hyperexploitation. In her work, the historical and current expression 'like 'animals'' ("som 'djur'") and  the role of the animal category in Aristotle's theory in Politics are deconstructed. Author of essays and research about Lizzy Lind af Hageby (1996; 2014), ditto in Swedish and a drama relating to Olympe de Gouges, women and the French revolution (2013; 2016). Reviewer of non-fiction and fiction, speaker, editor, translator, author of books on vegetarian and vegan issues, critical  power perspectives in relation to 'animal' ethics, the economic, environmental, and climate crisis, and feminism bringing the critique of the power relationship between humans and animals into the realm of human culture in Swedish.
